Dublin, California, is an East Bay suburb. Within the Amador Valley of Alameda County Tri-Valley region, it sits along the north side of I-580, about 35 miles east San Francisco, 23 miles east of Oakland, and 31 miles north of San Jose. At one time, it had a predominantly Irish population. Today, there are about 46,000 residents.
