SAN FRANCISCO, CA— February 28, 2013 — Getaround, the leading peer-to-peer car sharing service, is excited to announce a brand new, fully redesigned iPhone app. The new app will make it even easier for Getaround users to share cars with people nearby through a few new, key features and significant improvements to speed and reliability. The new app comes as part of the company's resolve to make car sharing a widespread and accepted behavior amongst drivers.

To celebrate the new app, two Getaround owners have listed their 2012 Tesla Model S' on the site. Two of only 3,000 produced last year, these cars are an amazing way for Getaround users to experience the new app and the future of car sharing.
