Hackensack, New Jersey, home to about 45,000 people, is a unique and diverse city conveniently located along Routes 4, 17, and 80. It is served by two New Jersey Transit train stations, which provide frequent service to NYC. The city's history dates back to the 1600s. General Washington was headquartered in Hackensack briefly during his famous 1776 Retreat.
