This community is not intended to replace the other knowledge resources available to you — including our Host Help Center, email updates, and social media pages. Instead, we want to provide a one-stop shop to share knowledge and communicate directly with each other and our team. Due to the nature of our marketplace, we know that hosts and guests may need to communicate immediately before, during, or immediately after the trip experience. While we understand that you, as a host, may be in contact with a guest to assist with a booking question or provide instructions regarding your car, we do not support any communication unrelated to a trip reservation. Getaround reserves the right to terminate a host account and ban hosts from our platform if any of the below standards are violated.
Aggressive, threatening, and/or harassing behavior is not allowed through any form of communication with a guest. For your safety, as well as the safety of your guest, all trip-related communications should be conducted through our app.
Contact with a guest should end when the trip is complete, regardless of the trip’s outcome. This means no texting, calling, or otherwise attempting to reach a guest outside of a completed trip.
We will not tolerate any conduct or communication that is harassing or discriminatory based on traits such as age, race, religion, disability, gender identity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, or other protected classes.
