Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, is a borough in Delaware County, six miles southwest of Philadelphia. About 10,600 people live here. The borough grew quickly in the early part of the 20th century when a railroad stop was established. It is primarily a residential area that covers 1.2 square miles of land. Darby Creek defines the southwest and southern border.
