The Las Vegas Metro Area, or the Las Vegas Valley, in the southern part of Nevada, comprises the three largest incorporated cities in Nevada: Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas. It has a population of about 2.31 million people. Las Vegas and Vegas can refer to the Valley, the Strip, the city, or the region.
